The Department of Music welcomes Artist in Residence in Chinese Music Performance and Director of the Chinese Music Ensemble Wang Guowei, a musician of international stature who has served as Artistic Director of the New York-based Music from China since 1996, and Artist Associate in Chinese String Instruments Susan Cheng, who is the Executive Director and founder of Music from China and who has also taught Chinese instruments at multiple academic institutions.
