Program

The Williams College Department of Music presents a senior recital featuring jazz vocalist Aspen Jordan on Thursday, May 12 at 7 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall on the Williams College campus. This free event is open to the public.

Aspen will sing music by Turk & Ahlert, Duke Ellington, George & Ira Gershwin, Grever/Adams, Hoagy Carmichael, and Fields & McHugh. She will be joined by pianist Rob Pasternak '11 and the members of Five O’Clock Shadow.

Aspen Jordan is a literature major with a concentration in Africana studies. She has been singing for 16 years, and began singing jazz seriously in high school. She has worked with Andy Jaffe and the Williams College Jazz Ensemble all four years, and is excited to present her Independent Study recital as a culmination of her work here. After graduation she will move to New York to pursue a career in the performing arts.
