Practice Rooms, Pianos, and Lockers

On the lower level of Chapin hall are 26 sound-proofed practice rooms, sixteen of which have grand or upright pianos.

Instrument and music locker space is available; however, storage space for rock band equipment such as amplifiers, electronic pianos, drum sets, speakers, etc. is rarely available. Check with the department before bringing large pieces of such equipment to campus. A student-faculty lounge and kitchen are open and available for informal group meetings and receptions.
