This spring we study and collaborate with Artist-in-Residence
“La Mora” Danis Perez Prades, known as one of the best
interpreters of Afro-Cuban folklore internationally. Kusika,
Zambezi and Ritmo Latino are joining forces to perform dance
and music traditions from the Caribbean and Africa that evoke
carnival. Mask wearing will be allowed. This year by popular
demand, our family matinees are back!

Ritmo Latino
(Latin Rhythm) is the new student Latin dance
ensemble at Williams. Ritmo Latino focuses on sharing Latin
American culture with the campus and community through dance,
music and performance. With a unique approach to building
community, Ritmo Latino integrates history and folklore into
the dance experience, exposing all who participate to the diverse
contributions that comprise Latina/o cultural expression.

These performances are made possible in part by the Lipp Family Fund for Performing Artists.
