Jazz Faculty Concert

The Williams College Department of Music presents the Williams Jazz Faculty Concert on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall on the Williams College campus. This free event is open to the public.

The concert features Kris Allen, saxophones, Avery Sharpe bass, Conor Meehan drumset, Sarah Politz, trombone, and Samirah Evans on vocals, with a whole host of special guest student pianists. Highlights of this program include new original music inspired by George Washington Carver, a tribute to the late Roswell Rudd, and classic jazz compositions associated with Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and Wayne Shorter.
