The Williams College Department of Music presents MIDWEEKMUSIC, a series of concerts, the first of which is presented on Wednesday, April 11 at 12:15 p.m. in Chapin Hall on the Williams campus. This free event is open to the public.

One of this week’s features are jazz vocalists from the studio of Laura Pierce, Artist Associate in Voice at Williams College. They sing standards from the Great American Songbook.

MIDWEEKMUSIC allows audiences to combine an appetite for food and music, most Wednesdays in April and May. Performances include soloists and small groups offering a delightful mix of pop, classical, jazz, vocal and instrumental music. Students make up the core of the talent, often backed by some of Williams’ talented Associate Artists. Audience are encouraged to bring a sandwich and enjoy this culinary and artistic repast.

This spring, the venue has been moved back to its traditional location on the stage in  Chapin Hall.
