MIDWEEKMUSIC allows audiences to combine an appetite for food and music, most Wednesdays in October, November and December. Performances include soloists and small groups offering a delightful mix of pop, classical, jazz, vocal and instrumental music. Students make up the core of the talent, often backed by some of Williams’ talented Associate Artists. Audience are encouraged to bring a sandwich and enjoy this culinary and artistic repast.
This fall, the venue has been relocated. Greylock Hall is a multipurpose building right next to the ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance.
The first performance on October 26 features a presentation by Artist Associate Keith Kibler, baritone, and comments by Prof. Marjorie Hirsch. This is an opportunity not only to acquaint oneself with the Schubert song, Todtengräbers Heimweh D. 842, but also to enjoy the performance by Sanghyun Im ’14 and pianist Robin Kibler.
