Senior RecitalHolly Crane ’12, Megan Behrend ’12, and Elizabeth Fox ’12, vocalists
The Williams College Department of Music presents a student recital with vocalists Holly Crane ’12, Megan Behrend ’12, and Elizabeth Fox ’12. They are joined by pianists Lauren McDonald ’12, Sam Mazzarella ’12 and Robin Kibler. Their performance takes place on Thursday, April 12 at 6:00 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall. This free event is open to the public.
The trio performs a program including solos, duets and trios by Handel, Mozart, Ravel, Purcell, Charpentier, as well as Leonard Bernstein and Jason Robert Brown. Megan Behrend ’12, soprano is from Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. Majoring in English, she studies voice with Kerry Ryer-Parke, Artist Associate at Williams College. She sings contemporary music in the mixed a cappella group Good Question. Holly Crane ’12, mezzo-soprano is a major in comparative literature with a concentration in Africana studies and is a student of Artist Associate in Voice Marlene Walt. She started studying voice as a child and has been very involved in musical theater. While at Williams, she has been an active member of the theater community and plans on pursuing acting when she graduates. Elizabeth Fox ’12, mezzo-soprano is from Williamstown and is a comparative literature major with a concentration in Latin. She has studied voice with Artist Associate Keith Kibler for the past six years and performed in musical and theatrical productions during her time at Williams.
