Williams College Wind Ensemble
The Williams College Department of Music presents a concert with the Williams College Wind Ensemble in Chapin Hall on Friday, May 16 at 8 p.m. This free event is open to the public.
The wind ensemble presents a program that includes traditional and new works. The performance includes Samuel Barber’s Commando March, and Kent Kennan’s Night Soliloquy, featuring flute soloist Annie Jeong ’14. Also on the program: Jacques Press’s Wedding Dance, Komm Süsser Tod, by J.S. Bach, and the First Suite in E-flat by Gustav Holst. The Wind Ensemble also presents works by two talented Williams musicians, Adam Strawbridge ’14, whose work The Exterminating Angel gets its world premiere performance, and Ben Kaufman ’16, who presents Nightmare Parade.
