The Department of Music welcomes Artist Associate Veena Chandra, a renowned sitarist and teacher, and Artist Associate Devesh Chandra, a virtuosic tabla player, to our faculty. Veena and Devesh Chandra have toured and recorded extensively and are the founder and executive director, respectively, of the Dance and Music School of India in Latham, NY. In addition, Veena Chandra has taught sitar as a faculty member at Skidmore College since 1990.
