Joining the Williams College Music Department as Concert and Event Coordinator in 2012, Mr. Myers brings his background in music, business and language to the job of organizing the department’s many public performances. He spent close to twenty years in Germany playing tenor and bass trombone as well as tuba. He performed in Berlin’s Theater des Westens, Operettenhaus Hamburg, and the Tivoli theater in Hamburg, and started a business.
After returning to New England he worked as an instructor of brass instruments at Bennington College and played in the Berkshire Symphony, the Williamstown Festival, and various local classical and jazz groups. Producing concerts and working with musicians has been a lifetime pursuit.
