Biography

Jonathan Myers brings a background in music, business, and language to the job of organizing the department’s many public performances. He spent close to twenty years in Germany playing tenor and bass trombone and tuba He performed in Berlin’s Theater des Westens, Operettenhaus Hamburg, and the Tivoli theater in Hamburg, among other things.

After returning to New England he worked as an instructor of brass instruments at Bennington College and played in the Berkshire Symphony, the Williamstown Festival, and various local classical and jazz groups. Producing concerts and working with musicians has been a lifetime pursuit.
